Our Mission
At The Smith Connection we inspire open-minded people to experience more fun, more love and easy financial flow. We provide strategic and practical tools for living well in a life filled with increased harmony of: work life and personal life, focus and relaxation, fun and creating legacies. We are excited about building an enlivening community where people make positive ripple effects by bringing their creativity out into the world.
Our Story
We’ve been married for over 14 years, and have seen the ups and downs of life along with it. After being hit with a number of devastating losses, and turning our distress against each other, we decided to do it differently. We made a decision to learn from those experiences, to help our lives and marriage, and in turn, help others. We have skillfully combined our talents, trainings and backgrounds to help others thrive in their lives as well. We are certified as Conscious Living and Loving Coaches by the Hendricks Institute, and now live our commitment to letting life, love and business be easy.

About Anna
Anneliese Smith (aka Anna or Anney) is a consultant, life, business & success coach, designer and serial entrepreneur, and recovered financial advisor. She has a talent and a love for helping executives, business owners and individuals get from where they are to where they want to be, and is not new to building successful businesses. Anna especially loves helping other women thrive in business while raising families.
She is an accomplished and wise woman who in her time on this planet has already served as Administrative Director for a major hair salon chain (which included human resources director for over 700 employees and oversight of 30+ locations) at the age of 21. Anna has also served as a financial planner at American Express for nearly a decade and successfully built a thriving practice before choosing to stay closer to home and family. She has helped numerous professionals make more money and work less in their own businesses – a true passion. Anna owns two lifestyle focused businesses: AnneyFriday and Penny Sophisticate both of which provide her with more means of exercising her bountiful creativity. Anna holds a degree from Pepperdine University‘s Graziadio Business School where she graduated at the top of her class and currently serves on the Alumni Executive Leadership Council in Small Business Outreach. Anney also currently serves as Foundation Director for the Foundation of Conscious Living – a charitable foundation that provides quality learning opportunities in conscious living and conscious business to communities and individuals who might not otherwise gain access to them.
About Brett
After 20 years of direct sales experience with deepening studies in personal empowerment and group dynamics, Brett found his true calling in the human potential movement. Now evolution is the key word in his life. Helping himself evolve by learning and growing and opening to new ideas while helping others evolve by leading them back up the trails he’s been shown. He excels at helping people achieve greater performance and connect with their purpose in life. Through experiencing the heights of performance possibilities, he’s become available to show others how to INCREASE. He is an alumni of Cal State Fullerton and constantly reaching for the larger learning and the meaning behind the curtain.
